Irene and Felix

This engagement has a special place in my heart, because the bride is my best friend. She's my sister and my family, though we come from different mothers :).

I had SO much fun taking these photos.  I laughed and smiled until my cheeks hurt. Here are a few of my favorites. You can find the rest in the portfolio section!

Fair Season

I entered photos in the fair, and a friend entered her delicious pie.  We had to stop by on a summer evening to check it out.  I was carrying my son; so, I couldn't also carry my "real" camera. I had to capture the beauty of the evening, though, even if only with my cell phone.

Green Garden

Late afternoon light glimmers through our garden, and I love walking around and seeing all of the yummy things we've planted. Today, I was most excited to see our tomatillos start to set fruit. I've never grown these before, and I'm super pumped about future salsa recipes.
